BJ Griffin and The Galaxy Groove

Little Theatre of Virginia Beach, Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), and Interspiritual Empowerment Project are proud to present the soulful stylings of local favorite BJ Griffin and the Galaxy Groove.

Detroit born and Virginia Beach raised, the multi-talented electric cellist and vocalist BJ Griffin will bring his expressive music to Virginia MOCA, in the heart of the ViBe District. With a mixture of jazz, classical, as well as R&B/Soul and Rock, BJ Griffin adds his own spin on popular songs such as The Way You Make Me Feel, Royals, and Forget You.

This family-friendly event will support the efforts of the Art of Humanity Collective, a local group of artistic and community organizations that are committed to educating and promoting the philosophy of attaining peace through nonviolent action as demonstrated by legendary leaders Mohandas K. Gandhi and Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.

General tickets: $15 for adults (13+) and $5 for children* (3 – 12). Lunch and a beverage are included.

*All children must be accompanied by an adult.
